Hi peeps,
I'm a proud owner of Atomic Bass Box, and I'm in love with it! Haven't even tried the app yet, because I'm really happy with the tones I can dial in directly. Only thing I would wish for would be some ways to save presets without the need to remember all the settings...Meaning eg. same amp & cab setting but with different EQ for example.
I've been using this at our rehearsal place directly to the mixer & with IEMs, for recording at home and hopefully also at ampless gigs in near future.
I've been using mostly the tube amp + 4x10 settings which can get me to same ballpark as my trusty Orange AD200 + OBC410 (not the same, but the vibes are there). Now we have an upcoming AC/DC cover gig coming up with one of my bands, and for Cliff Williams tones I've been using the SVT model which works pretty well. Not exactly like Cliff, but sound which work well with one guitarist (instead of two like in the real thing).
Would be nice to know what kind of settings you guys & gals use in your Bass Box (and for what purposes!)
My "Tube" settings are (clock-face style):
top row: 9,9,9,11
Bottom row: 12,11,1,2
Tube boost + middle amp/cab setting
EQ switch: the middle position
Boost on
My "SVT" settings:
top row: 9,9,9,12
bottow row, 9,3,3,3
tube boost + SVT amp/cab
EQ switch: the middle position
Boost on
