Is it just me or have shipping costs kind of gone through the roof over the past year? Especially through the post office - It cost me $12 to mail a ~=1.5lb book from seattle to san francisco (priority, but still). Glad I'm not trying to sell any basses/amps on the internet.
Putting on the economist hat, it's probably due to the increase in gas prices, fuel is such a vital input that when its price goes up, the price of EVERYTHING ELSE goes up. bleh
