UK-based TBers ... your help, please. I'm looking at bringing a vintage bass out to NZ from the UK and want to find the cheapest shipping option (other than holidaying relatives with large suitcases). I've looked at the Royal Mail web site and their parcel prices look very high. Has anybody had good experience and reasonable prices from other shippers?
The bass is bolt-on so neck and body can be split, and I'll ship it without a hard case, so weight should be under 5kg. Not looking for urgency, so a slow boat is fine.
