Shocking Amplifier?

Now I am concerned. My sunn concert bass head (late 70's) has a 2 prong plug. Do you suggest I get a tech to replace it? Its never shocked me, but it does hum a bit.
Yes, and have him install bypass caps and MOVs in a delta configuration while he's in there. If he doesn't know what that means find someone else. The hum is just as likely caused by old dried out power supply caps, so while it's open you should replace them, upgrading their capacity. Generally it costs at least an hour's labor just to open the box up, so take advantage of it while he's in there.
