Shopping Link Added?

I noticed that a link has been added to a post I posted yesterday: http://www.talkbass.com/threads/kolstein-rosin.414865/#post-15891092

The link has been added to the words "Kolstein bass rosin" and a click takes one to a shopping site for, sensibly enough, Kolstein bass rosin. However, I did not put the link there. If I hover over the link, a popup informs me that it is a "Shopping link added by SkimWords." Is this authorized by TalkBass? The link appears harmless, but it suggests that I am encouraging people to go to the linked site, which I am not.

It's just something I hadn't seen before that got my attention.

Skimwords links are added but only for unregistered, not logged in traffic (ala search engine traffic). I'm assuming you were not logged in when u saw the link?

This is one way we can generate revenue with 0 impact on all Talkbass members.

I was logged in then, and I just checked again now . . . and it still shows the link.

I'm seeing skim words links while browsing in Chrome on iPad. Example from the "Amazon Deals" thread attached.

@Lee Moses and @Febs Thanks for letting me know! Traced the problem to retro skin. Should be fixed now. Please confirm! You should never see any skimwords links when logged in.
