Should I jump ship?

I've recently ordered a Darkstar pickup for my Mustang. I ordered it through Landing Guitars and Jimmy is going to do the install work. It's been over two months and neither of us have heard a word from Fred. We don't even know if the pickup is being built let alone how close to being ready it is. Do you guys think I should bail on the DS or stick it out? I'm considering putting a Lace Alumatone in instead since they are readily available.
What would you guys do?

Ow Wow

Carey over at Nordstrand has just developed a NEW Mustand replacement pickup.

Why not give it a breath of fresh air.

(I'm not sure its even listed on the page, since its brand new.)

I'm like yourself , in that I also ordered a single DS, back in June...this question specifically came up and was delt with a while back; just que furthurer into the "DS" search. Word is, Fred always comes through, but gets really backed up with orders...he's not much for answering emails, you'll have better luck with a phone call. I've got a pair of them in my Starfire...THEY ARE WORTH THE WAIT! :D
