this is why you "need" to mix with at least decent of monitors. knocks the learning curve out the window for the most part. not saying every mix will be perfect on a good set of monitors, but you won't be that far off from the start.

Should I take the jump and get Behringer Monitors?

I have a pair of wharfedale monitors, they are great i dont use them for mixing i use HHBs for that. but i have also played with the Behringer truth monitors and for the money they sounded really good!
