If we are counting P pickups in soapbars, I've got an Ltd B-1005. It's a P/J, P/MM and I am really happy with it. But it's been discontinued and replaced by the RB-1005BM

The RB-1005 is a neckthrough P/J with Aguliar pickups and preamp: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Yawn. You guys can't really want to see this again, can you?

It's my Squier by Fender special P (which meant it had two jazz pickups that were REALLY poor). I modded it with a Dimarzio ultra J and a NOS Fender P-bass 5 pickup. You pull on the first volume knob to switch the P-pickup from series to parallel.

I love everything about it...except... (I know, I know, tonewood doesn't matter!) I really don't like the "feel" of the Agathis body. Real Ash or Alder would be much nicer!

One of these days I'll have to upgrade to an SX! i

I am glad to see this thread and the fact that the world finally catching up with me in realizing that 5er PJ basses are the shiznit.

One of these days I've just GOT to throw together a matching version of this in fretless!
