Just received my cab this afternoon. It's just like the "DEB" cab - 3012LF, Faital 6.5, Wine Taurus Tolex - but with tan cloth grill.

Wow! Just beautiful. That is one of my favorite LDS spec's, and that wine tolex is just amazing. The tan cloth looks great also. You are going to LOVE that thing!![]()
That is dead sexy....
2 way or 3?
He posted 'just like TBer Deb's cab, so it is a two way. The Faital driver has a VERY nice extension into the upper treble, so unless you really like a bit of sheen and sizzle, there is plenty of treble way up high with that mid driver. I love that particular spec.
I have a clip on my iComposition site of an identically spec'd cab ... smooth and articulate. GREAT cab!
Here is the link if you are interested.

A minor change from Deb's is that my pad is mounted on the side; I had expected it to be on the rear like Deb's. I like the design change.
That was about how long mine took, so I'm sure it will be very soon. For what it's worth, I never called Don or asked him for status. Maybe I'm just getting accustomed to custom work, I automatically double the initial projected lead time![]()
