Show your band promo shots

Our infamous foot shot.We got so tired of seeing brick walls,RR tracks, bands trying to look super tough so we did this as a dig at everyone. Most people thought it was great, club owners got a laugh out of it.Well except one well known blues club down here,he flat refused to put it in the display case outside.Afterwards he told us he really dug the band and he would bring us back when we bring him a new photo. Our drummer looked him straight in the eyes and said **ck You! We had more gigs than we wanted anyways at the time so we got a big laugh out of it. Believe me,blowing off a gig is not something I endorse but at the moment all the stars were aligned and we finally got to stick it to THE MAN! LOL!!!!!

I have a question for those who've posted in this thread. I'd really like to know how many of you are satisfied with your promo photos. I look in this thread and I see poorly-lit, out of focus (not purposely so), terribly composed shots. (Obviously, not all of the photos here are like that) How many of you would be willing to pay for a photo session from a professional photographer?

Thanks....

Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering this. There are a few decent photos in here, but most are very amateur and I would think probably do more harm than good.

this was actually the singer's tiny living room... the photographer was REALLY good with lighting...

I really like this concept, but it isn't executed well. It's not in sharp focus, and the boots are distracting. But it's a really great idea.

An aspiring photographer/bassplayer friend volunteered his afternoon to us and shot like 400 pics of us. I posted that one because of how our drummer has her hands up. We alternate between a few different ones. Thanks for the critique though.
