i think this counts:
Stereo rig. 1x15 is an Eminence legend b15 powered by the 800rb with crossover set to mostly lows. it is like my sub.
the Avatar 2x12 neo and the Peavey pro 4x10 and powered by my Mackie 1400i, which is run by my Peavey TB raxx preamp.

Ignore the settings, I run it pretty much flat, no enhance, occasionally a bit of boost at 400-600hz. I use a MIA Jazz with it.

you know, I did entertain that idea in order to fund a 5-string fretless that I've been jonesing for...but I haven't made up my mind if I want it bad enough to sell that bass...
Next gig I'm definitely using my 70s traynor (it's a loud 50 watts and it won't be a huge gig)

Sounds just like you think it would with two completely different but state of the art clean tones, one tube, one SS, and a guitar amp for grind. It's not especially high wattage, but it will rip your face off.

Awsome. What a cool amp. Had the chance to buy one once ... man, I really should've.
Yeah, I really wish it had more power though - it's a loud 50 watts, but it's still 50 watts.
I would love to see a YBA-3 or YBA-3A around here, I'd snap one up so fast.. I think the 3 was 160 watts and the 3A was 250 - and I believe it was strongly recommended the 3A be run with TWO of Traynor's own 8x10" cabinets.
Rumor has it Ampeg got their hands on a YBA-3A and matching 8x10" and.. (I'm not joking)
Even the YBA-1A was 100 watts or so (maybe 90) which would be nice - I'd buy one of those in a jiff too.
Funny story, I bought the amp after realizing the similarity in circuit to the 59 Bassman or JTM45 (I play guitar as well). With a few mods I was going to turn it into a plexi style Marshall - but I made the mistake of plugging my bass into it. I like the damn thing better than my Eden, and so it stays just how it is.
heres mine, not as DOOM sounding as it could be, but works pretty well for me right now.

i play the Jazz w/a pick for hardcore and punch, and the P bass has BEAD strings for playing doom metal. the Rat sounds really good for doom, but the low end loss is pretty notable. unfourtunatly, i also kinda need to use the Rat to mask the SERIOUS clipping my head does.
