That is (was ) one of my favourite '60s P Bass colourschemes. Black's cool too (with a tort p/g ).

I am in the process of building one for a customer and man its making me gas for a Sonic Blue and this thread doesnt help either.. LOL..

Funny, I bought this Jazz made by a local luthier. It's one piece ash and it was white. I thought that it would be nice natural so I stripped off the white. This blue was underneath. It came out kind of reliced so I kept it as is. Would you consider it sonic blue?
Its a great player with 70's Dimarzio PUP's and I got the thinnest all-parts neck available.

is it me or is the rear P pickup beefier in size then the one under the pickguard...

More info is needed on that one for sure shes a beaut..
