Here's what i've been gigging for the last couple of months but i think i may kinda be missing a simpler board.
The white one on the top row is a "Pumpernickel" compressor, a diy soldering project by Schalltechnik_04. Great little comp, beats the Cali in my ears.

Signal chain is KMA Queequeg -> IE Oxide -> EQD Life Pedal -> JPTR FX Warlow -> AE Dreamy Delay -> EHX Freeze -> DOD Meatbox -> OxEAE Bass Driver.
I want in future put stereo DI box on bottom side and split signal on DOD Meatbox for sub sound and standard sound.

Hey, I know this is a little late, but I’ve been trying to find info on the Keeley Halo on bass. Not many seem to be talking about it, but after research I’m currently leaning towards it as a delay pedal… how do you like it with bass? Thanks!

Not trying to be a jerk, but can someone explain to me the fascination worship players have with the EHX Bass MicroSynth?
Lol great question - it's known as the "Bethel" tone - thick synth bass sound for some of their slow songs.
Modern contemporary worship music has trended toward using wide dynamic ranges and more of an atmosphere feeling. From light sections that build to huge moments. The bass microsynth helps create that wall of sound to really punctuate a song climax - sub octave + dry + square wave upper octave.
Another opportunity is that modern worship music guitar parts are not crunchy, but again more atmospheric layers. This creates a big void that the bass players can operate in. As a result, some of the most bass dirt I hear on songs these days is in worship music. Weird, huh?
As mentioned earlier, the Bethel church in Redding CA has some really talented writers and players and pioneered this heavy duty bass tone in worship music. You will find the "Bethel bass board" more or less replicated by many worship bassist. It was characterized by the Tone Hammer with AGS always on, a RAT pedal, and the Bass Microsynth. Usually a P bass or a J bass with front pickup solo'd.
I attached a pic of a rig I used a few weeks ago. The Tone Hammer and Bass Microsynth and P bass are there. I add the Strymon Brig for ambient sections and layer in some modulated delay, volume pedal swell, low notes. I have made several attempts to move on from the bass microsynth including the new MXR Bass Synth, but keep coming back to the BMS because it works so well for those couple of big moments.
