Shuttle 6 and LM2 both push 2 4ohm cabs?

SORRY GUYS - NO Ashdown Little Giants COMING ANYTIME SOON

Just got off the phone w/Ashdown's North American distributor.

The Little Giants are not available in NA and there is NO ETA - I repeat: NO ESTIMATED TIME OF AVAILABILITY.

Actually, each side of the Stewart is capable of running 750w @ 2ohm. So theoretically I 'could' run 4 4ohm 2x10's, 2 out of each side. But no need to do so.

Running the 2 2x10's daisy chained out of one side of the Stewart gets me 750w vs only 500w if I ran one out of each side. So I'm getting a bit more headroom, and the debatable benefit of running the cabs at 2ohm vs 4ohm.

Actually, you're running less power that way.

Each cab is only seeing 1/2 the power, so 375 watts to each. (750 total)

If your amp puts out 500 watts/side in stereo at 4 ohms, then if you ran each cab off a separate side, you'd be running the amp at 1,000 watts - and each cab would see 500 watts.

That's if I understood your amp specs correctly, and you're not bridging the amps.

Just to follow up...

I went with a Genz Benz NeoPak (2ohm vers) and am running it through 2 Avatar b210's (4ohm) stacked vertically. Very happy with the NeoPak.


Glad I didn't wait on a Little Giant.
