I believe the chorus is played with a 5 string bass but you can play similar on a 4 like this:

e-

g-
d-6..---
a-----3..
e---------1..--4..-**-4

d-6..-------3h5----------------5----3-3--3-3--3--
a-----3-3-3-------------------------------------------
e-------------------------------------------------4-4--3-3--1

listen to the song for timing

sorry; but it sounds very close on my bass

she only plays the verse on the a string
Yea in the verse I wasn't sure if those hits on the E string were the kick drum or what.

the little bass solo(in the chorus) she does is all on the d string.she never uses the g at all.
wow she must be very fast to play that on 1 string!

just to let you know she tunes to cgcf. and uses warwick black label strings.she use 5 string set but only uses the bead strings no g. I've talked to her warwick dealer.I don't know why all there old songs off there first cd are tabed and all the new one's are hard to find.i'm going to post pitiful soon I learned it the right way.I'm also working on cancer.any help with it would be great.:bassist

They don't have a whole lot of the SP songs, but they do have some of the ones that you guys are looking for at Songsterr.com. You do have to join and pay a $9.90 a month subscription fee to print them out or see them full screen, but you can still use the site for free. It's not perfect, but it gets you real close. Sadly, no howards tale. And I've watched emma play it live, the tabs you guys have here are off. Sorry to tell ya.:bassist:

I thought she tuned Bb F Bb Eb?

That's what I've heard/am hearing lately- I think "you're going down" uses that low Bb in the chorus
