I was browsing strings on Amazon and saw $10 a set strings, so I had to get them

The packaging is definitely feeling like the cheapest possible, which is fine, save money where you can.

The strings themselves are in the kind of thin plastic that wraps take out fork/napkin sets

Typical boastful packaging, I wonder what kind of extreme pounding new rock I'll get into with these

How many wraps you get on a very standard P bass, uncut strings. The G was borderline too short and I had to do that wrap around half the post trick to get it to hold

Tone? Yeah they sound like pretty basic round wounds. There's nothing wrong with them at all at least for now. For $10 a set I am not anticipating or expecting longevity of zinginess. I'd say tonally I like them better than the Boomers I am currently trying out on my other P bass, and about as well as the Slinkys on my Jazz bass.

Feel? They are on the rougher side but not cheese graters

Overall, if you're the kind of person that loves a fresh set of strings, or really flogs the heck out of your strings, these would be fine for frequent changing.
