Except for the fact that the V7 has '60s p/u placement. I'd say any bolt-on active ash/maple/maple bass with '70s p/u positioning will get you close.

Something like a Fender Classic '70s or Geddy Lee Jazz with a good preamp installed? Both share the same MIM bodies, but with different necks and bridges.
