Hey there i am looking for a piece to do for a post secondary audition i really don't even know where to start looking the university is asking for a short movement contrasting to a baroque piece if anyone knows of anything thats of an intermediate level it would be greatly appriciated if you could lend you knowledge

The Bach cello suites are always a good choice. You could also choose any of the Marcello sonatas.

Not sure off the top my head where The Eccles falls, but it's another good choice. Edit: The Eccles is also a Baroque solo

Yeah I am doing the minuets from Bach 2 for a baroque piece, I just need something to contrast with that if you have any other ideas please let me know

The fifth vivaldi cello sonata is a good choice. Also, the Handel sonata in the Zimmerman book.
