Simple Volume Pedal Problem

hey all,

i have an ernie ball mono volume pedal that needs calibrated. the problem i have is that even when it's completly physically off, you can still hear the instrument - granted it's very, very quiet.

how do i calibrate it so that it's completely silent when it's turned all the way down?

Usually volume pedals are not set to go from full off to full on with everything in-between... my limited experience is that they are usually set from a range of low level (background) to high level (in-your-face lead).

I'd be willing to bet that you can recalibrate it for your needs but I'm afraid I can't help with that. Sorry.

I believe there's a switch underneath the tread for two distinct ranges of volume control - try the other range.
I'll check out my pedal and get back with you.
