My friend Dana wanted to paint a bass(he was doing tattoo flash on the side) so I said, "Have at it!" with no idea what I would get back. If I had a gig this weekend I'd play it with this one....

Not exactly something i'd gig with, but that is a really well done paintjob, especially on the back.

Oddly enough it is one of the best playing basses I've ever owned including KenSmith's, Zon's, and an Alembic among many others. Sounds great as well!

Well thanks for your opinion, I'm crushed.......

It is actually a fairly "coarse" paint job as it was done with brushes to give it a little depth and no final sanding or clear coat was done.
