In most cases what is your preference in bass body styles?

As a rocker, when I rock out, I just can't seem to get my hear around rocking out with a single cut. It's like rocking out a beer party with the fine china.

Single-cut. I do like both but something about the SC's really appeals to me. For DC's, I dig the Carl Thompson type stuff and Ken Bebense's Baroque style basses. Weird stuff like Auerswald is always good for me The DC Marchelewski's have been very tasty as well

Aesthetically I just cant say I like many, if any that I've seen.

So what is the advantage of SC besides distinctive look? Stiffer stable neck? Changes in sustain? I assume with the right combos of woods then it could help sustain.

Cool bass-I bet it would have looked even better as a singlecut. Just IMHO
