SIT strings for 35" scale

I want to try SIT strings, because they have the gauge I'm looking for 45-65-80-100-125. Will the regular SIT strings fit my 35" scale Lakland Skyline JO 5-string? If so, could someone recommend what SIT strings I should try? Rock Brights Stainless or Nickel, Power Wound Stainless Steel or Nickel, Taper Wound? I play mostly country-rock, and want a deep, bright, punchy sound and a tight B. Thanks!

SIT are great strings. The 5 string set you order will be long enough if you top load through your bridge.

Stainless vs Nickel is your call. I like the Rock Brights. I like the zing and can always EQ it out if it's too much. I have tried both, but I prefer the Stainless.

Good luck...

Ditto on the Rock Brite Stainless, my Lakland 5502 sounds deep, punchy with as you say a nice zing on the top end. I top the the B E & A and string the others thru the body.
