Just starting to pick up bass again and here’s a fun song I’m starting to learn. Would this be considered “walking bass”?

Yes, that is considered a walking bass line. To be sure, it is a little faster than many walking lines, but it walks nonetheless.

Johnson has been out with Samantha Fish for the last few years, badass journeyman bassist.

That's a blues walk for sure and the main figure is a foundational jazz walking pattern. The walking in this song is more repetitive (b/c the structure) than a "walking the changes" type of line you'd find in a straight ahead bebop song, but you find measures like that all the time in improvisational jazz walking. Lines like this are a ton of fun to learn and play.
