Slap guard question.

Hi guys. I am considering to make a slap guard for my spctor and MTD 535. I really don't wanna scratch my brandnew gears.

I think some of you guys might have dont this before.

Any idea about the material and the way you mount it on yours?

Please help me.

ps. Who knows the protective film that comes with the brandnew cell phones on the screens?
