Oops! I meant the Warwick Corvette! And only because there's one going in a local auction for a good price and I saw them mentioned a couple of times in the "which bass for slap?" type posts.
I'd still rather hear what they sound like before putting a bid in!
ALSO: I found some snippets of the Rage Against The Machine track mentioned earlier along with Aeroplane by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Wow! The Stingray sounds awesome! A shame it's outside my budget. The same for the Cirrus. Both of those sounded really, really nice.
I was starting to get a little depressed, but then I found those tracks of Marcus Miller slapping a Fender Jazz, and I don't feel quite so bad now! It's nice to know the Fender is still capable of getting that kind of sound out of it - although hopefully you don't have to be as good as he is!
