I was not completely sure where to post this one, so let me know if I need to move it. Sorry.

Fairly simple questions here for any slappers
1: do you prefer high or low tension strings for slapping?
2: do you prefer high or low action for slapping?
3: is there a combination of these two that would be considered the most commonly accepted way of setting up a bass for slap?

I use low tension and low action. But I also use a 35 inch scale.

I like low action because I can control dynamics easier.

I like low tension because I am very expressive on the strings with vibratos..etc. Plus it feels a little easier on the hands.

I use a low action for slapping and light gauge strings (125,95,75,60,32). I have used a little higher action for slap to get a more "round" tone, but lowered back down to fit my style. But, I don't have it so low that it buzzes if you breath on it. I am a person who cannot stand fret buzz....It's like fingers on a chalkboard to me.
