Small Amp Recommendation

Hello,

I own a Hofner 500/1 bass and a Vox T60 combo. I love my T60, but due to limited space in my flat I keep it in a closet, where removing it is not always easy. I'm looking for a small bass amp that I can leave out at all times for occasional playing in my flat. I thought about the Vox Pathfinder 10B. It fits the size and budget I am looking for.

What is the general feeling about Vox Pathfinder 10B? Are there alternatives you would recommend around the same price and size? Please note it will not be my main amp.

I picked up a used Ibanez acoustic guitar amp (with a tiny speaker in it, say 6"?) because it sounded the best with bass guitar and had a built-in chorus! Try it first if you can.

I have no experience with the Vox 10B so I checked it out: 10 watts into 2x5 for $100. Plus it sure is cute.

For the same $100, check out and audition a Fender Rumble 25 1x8. I bought one because it was; small cheap, and cute. I was very pleasently surprised by how good it sounded.

Ibanez is hard to beat for return on investment.

A Rumble Combo is the way to go. They have a good varied lineup of sizes.

You can't go wrong with the Rumble.

You should consider the Phil Jones Double Four. It's the size of a shoebox, sounds way bigger than it is, and can be run with a laptops external battery for power!
