Small/apartment-sized amps or Sim/DAW recommendations?

You can fit it on a desk. It doesn’t distort on a B string. And it has headphone control if you want it but the speakers are made to sound great at inside levels. And they work with a guitar too.

I was told my best options would probably be amp sims or a DAW? I'm not too familiar but eager to learn if anyone has any advice. Or any small practice amps that can also plug into a PC (to record) or even a lunch box type? Budget, probably anything near over $1K is pushing it probably, hah. Rock/punk rock type music with a pick is what I used to and will probably be making music with again, if that makes any difference.

This is what I use. Digitech RP-335 .Nice library of effects (although some what dated), can be used as a DAW, has mixable media in for playing in context, USB port, 1/4” and ELX stereo outs, line out, and Headphone.

These are discontinued, but my son pulled mine out of a trash can and gave it to me. Probably could find one of these pretty cheap on line.

For simple jamming along with bluetooth songs in headphones I love my Mighty Plug Pro and despise my Boss Waza Air cans.

Any of the midrange modelers would probably be very nice for you to use as an interface to record when you're ready and jam along with headphones for now. Personally, I run my Kemper for that but I've used a NUX MG30 with decent results and would have no problem rocking the line 6, headrush, or mooer stuff. Haven't dug too deep, but that new TONEX might be sweet too.

If you'd like the option of having a small amp one of the small Phil jones might work well.

I have a Fender Rumble 25, a Positive Grid Spark 40, and a Steinberg UR22C to my PC loaded with Bias FX Elite.
I use the Bias FX Elite most. I play guitar too, so it's easy to switch from one setting to another on the standalone App version.
Noisy household, high ceilings, and polished concrete floors means anything more than headphones is MORE THAN HEADPHONES, if you get my meaning. The Spark and the Rumble both take headphones too.
