Small &lightweight cab for gigs HELP

Most of the places where you might order cabs new, will list the dimensions.
If you can't find a single 15" that you like and that will fit the trunk, a couple of 1x12's might be the way to go.
You could even go "back seat" if you needed to.

I remember in about 1969 Magnatone made some cabinets and bragged about how they were designed to fit in the trunk of a car. The trunks of cars were large in the late 60's.

Steve Rabe told me SWR stands for "S h i t Works Right". At least before Fender got it, it did lol. I can't remember too much else from our conversation. Really cool guy though.

I can't help you, just want to support you for including this criteria in your cab choosing.

When I was looking for an ideal combo for me, I also checked measurements against my (smallish) car trunk. Good fit made my life easier with every load-in and load-out. More than once, combo was backup and stayed hidden inside trunk. If it was on a car seat, I couldn't have left it there...

I can't tell what kind of car that is from
The back. Is it a coupe or a sedan? If you really like your current cab can you put it in from backdoor and slide it into the trunk with the seats laid down?

Maybe a bit of an inconvenience but if you really like the cab.

+1 on Barefaced. Super Midget at 18"H x 17"W x 11"D and 23 lbs will give you ALL you need. Don't own the 1x10 but understand it punches way over it's weight as well.

I have a set of CN112's (Bergantino). They both fit in the trunk of my midsize sedan easily. Probably easier to stuff 2 112's in there than 1 212. Also makes the rig modular: I can leave one at home if I don't need it. Easier to haul around as well. They're pretty light (Neo cabs).

Much easier to haul around and stuff in a relatively small trunk than the Eden 210 I had before this. Better sound too (but that's just personal preference obviously).

That being said, the Carvin 115MBE (17"×12"×19") would fit easy. Once you get one through the ooening amd slide it over you could actually fit two of them in there. They weigh nothing and stacking two would likely sound great.

The limitation is the 14" width of my cab, even though the opening of the trunk is 15" it wont fit... The carvin seems to work, it will consider ordering one to see if it fits. Thanks a lot!

LOL as funny as it sounds ive always drive small cars so im kind of use to this but this new ride is definetely a big challenge... so far ive been putting the cab on the passenger seat or the rear seat but i dont want to ruin the seats or scratch the interior...
