Small practice combo question

I've got a simple question regarding small practice combos. Does anybody make one with a DI out? The reason I'm asking is because I just read this article:

Mounting a small practice amp on a stool in front or behind you and feeding the signal through a DI and having the bass come through the floor wedges might be an idea for saving space on tight stages, and also as a weight saving measure.

Thanks, but I was thinking more in the range of 15 to 25 watts, and $100 to $150. After looking around at MF, I found some with a line out, which could go into a PA system. Combined with floor monitors and subwoofers for the drummer, it should logically work.
