Did you make these or is there a website I can compare cab size to my size?

Because I really love these pictures they help a lot for sizing to scale for cars and walking etc., !

No, I make them. I've got a giant Adobe Illlustrator file with a lot of amps & cabs, so it takes me a few seconds to add a new one.

A couple of years ago I designed and coded an online "Bass Rig Simulator", it was working well, but somebody on TB threatened me for violating copyright laws because I was showing amps and cabs with their logotypes, so I decided to kill the project. Too bad, it was fun and usefull…Since that time, I keep the illustrator mockup and add new gear once in a while, because it's important for me to imagine how a given rig actually looks.

I even had a "Custom specs" tab, where you could create a mockup and calculate the total weight and total SPL of a custom rig, just by entering the specs:

Occasionally someone will have one for sale on here, and sometimes on Instagram Alex will announce if they have one in stock on return or ready but you have to buy it as intended since many people decide if they are gonna wait they get them custom.

Agree 100% with @gtirard to go look at the club, it may sound like a cult but nearly everyone on TB has put Bareface above everything else, they have something, and a price for everyone, I personally almost pulled the trigger on one One10 to just start out with a build up my cabs but I decided to wait and save for the Big Baby 3 or Super Compact.

I have the One10 and the Super compact, and I love them both, but I prefer the Super Compact, it's simply the best sounding cab I've ever played.

Hi all,

I'm looking at putting together a small, small rig. Hauling big, heavy gear is just no fun. I have an Aguilar TH500 and was looking to pair then with 2 Aggie 110 cabs. Problem is that size cab seems to be a fairly rare bird. Haven't been able to find one to test drive. Anyone have experience with the little 110 cabs? Thanks!

I would like to encourage you to consider getting 112's instead of 110's. The few 110's I've heard have a hard time with a full bottom end. When you add the second 110 to it, suddenly everything comes together. But if you have to run 2x110 cabs why not just get a 210 cab?

I specifically bought a 112 cab for playing small venues that wouldn't let me bring in my DNS-410 cab because, "That's way too much for here", and would commonly make me use some small 112 combo. One spot in particular we played over 40 Friday Nights a year hosting their Open Mic Night. I had to play through a Peavey 112 combo that I just couldn't get a good sound out of. So I went looking for a 112 cab to use with my existing amps. I have a friend who runs two of them as needed for his gigs and he effusively recommended them. So I bought one in 4Ω because I was going to use it with a lower powered Eden Class D amp, a TN-226 (225-watts rms into 4Ω) and didn't expect to use it anywhere else. That first night that I played through it though, I was amazed at how good it sounded. In fact, I ordered a second one the next day, also in 4Ω, to use along with it at my medium-sized venues.

The Eden EX-112's are very compact cab using Neo speakers. They use a whizzer cone (cone inside a cone) for the high-mids and highs instead of a separate tweeter horn. It measures 16"high, 15¼"wide, 14¾"deep and weighs 30-lbs. It has a handle in the middle of the top back edge, which makes it really easy to grab with one hand. Price new was $269. Haven't seen a new one for a while but you can find them used from time to time on Reverb and eBay. Even if you can't find an Eden EX-112, I'd still recommend that you consider getting a couple of 112's instead of 110's

Here's my small venue rig with that EX112 being driven by my Eden TN-226 class D amp. The class D amps all fit fine on top of this cab. The whole thing fits inside the width of a chair and I can carry the amp in its shoulder bag over one shoulder, throw my gig bag over the other shoulder, grab the bass in one hand and the cab in the other and load in or out all in 1 trip.

Because I bought the first cab in 4Ω, I had to also get the 4Ω version for the second cab. That would put a 2Ω load on my amps and I didn't have one that could do that at the time. So I used my big class AB Eden amp, which has two power channels and plugged each cab into its own channel. It sounded great but looked a bit weird because even with the cabs turned on their side to line up the ports, the amp in its rack hung over the edge. Made a "T" shape out of it. You shouldn't have that problem with a class D amp. I got a lot of compliments on the sound of this 2x112 set up. I stack it on a milk carton to bring it up a bit more.

I know this an ancient thread but these sound awesome. I'm running a Genzler Kinetix 800 through them and they handle it like a champ, I wouldn't let the conservative 175 watt rating scare anyone away. I'm not babying them in any way but I do use common sense. The bottom end has authority. The person who said a Bareface 10 would blow these away obviously hasn't even heard these. Those possibly will get louder with a high sensitivity rating but that's about it, they won't sound as accurate or as good in my opinion and these get plenty loud just ask my neighbors . These are a hybrid using ceramic drivers from the DB series. The cabs weigh 23 lbs just a few pounds lighter than the Aguilar SL112 so their relative heft and cabinet depth (17 inches) really aid in making them sound more massive than their 10 inch size would suggest. They'll go deeper than an SL210 or SL410 and they make my Stingrays sound like Stingrays and my P bass like a P bass. I really like them a lot, they make a very manageable but super sounding small rig.
