So I just wanted to share this small victory. After all of these years I finally decided to take lessons. It's a great situation, I joined the church band and play bass and the director gives me lessons. This week he told me if I could get this baseline I would be well on mY way in my bass playing. "I wanna be sedated" by the Ramones. I'm an RnB motown guy so this style is a little different. Well I knocked it out the park I got the 8th notes down and the shifts at speed. I feel good.
