Small yet powerful combos

Is a combo without the amp with a metal cover where the amp would be mounted. I haven't weighed this cool little speaker yet, but can testify to its big natural sound. I haven't put it on a scale yet, but it seems to weigh about the same as the T-Funk. Responds well to eq, has a screw-in peg to kick back and aim toward your ears, rated 250w @ 4 ohms. Plays REAL well with the 'Funk!

A note about this thread: I'm no longer searching for gear. It turns out my playing situation now is going to require more power and volume. I have a SWR Bass 350 connected to a Dr. Bass BL115 and it's doing quite nicely. I will be adding a 210 if this proves to be insufficient.

Bump for Acoustic Image (or whatever the company is) - one of the bassists ran his bass through this for a concert in Orchestra - sounded real nice.

You can get a used Little Mark F1 on Ebay now and then. This one delivers 450 Watt and is relatively cheap nowadays because of the 'heavy weight': 2,7 kilo (the new series: The little Mark II and the LMK are 7 lbs)
Don't use their cabs. They are too expensive. Buy a 500 W Avatar. They are almost as good for little money.
Then you would have about the same volume as a full stack!

You can find a new one here:
