sndvol32.exe - can't seem to get it in an agreeable spot

hey folks,

so, I use Sibelius (music notation) and Auralia (ear training) at home - both need midi sounds to function properly

I recently installed cubase le, which came with my zoom b2 effects unit. i was able to record just fine, but whenever i tried the two aforementioned programs, no midi sounds were evident

anyway, a buddy, who is decidedly less inept with computers than me, fixed the midi problem by dropping sndvol32.exe where it needed to be. but now, I can't record from my effects unit to cubase!

i was all geared up to play some trombone quartets, just for kicks, into cubase, but no go

help!?

Did he MOVE sndvol32 or COPY it? Sounds like he moved it, in which case you might want to try having a copy in both locations.

excellent idea ... now I just need to figure out where sndvol32.exe was in the first place!
