I was literally on the road for 40 minutes yesterday trying to get to school.
Didn't get 10 km from my house...
My school is 60 km away.

As an "ex" Canadian, I have to agree us Ameicans are a bunch of wussies when it comes to snow.

I actually don't mind snow all that much. I'm originally from upstate New York on the Candian border so I grew up with plenty of snow. I don't like the fact that my wife and son are home and have to deal with a foot and a half of snow while I'm away. Not to mention the fact that my flight was canceled.

I don't mind the snow - I'm watching it falling out my window right now. What I'm hoping is that it doesn't hit -34 on Sunday night as they're currently predicting.

Light snow and mild here in So Wisc, as of now. Nothin' wrong with snow in the winter.

Just wait. According to Al Gore, Boston will be tropical in just a few years. Oh wait, the ocean will be up to the 35th floor. Yeah, get out of Boston.

It seems like a big swath of the country is getting a lot more snow than usual. Here in Chicago, we're at pretty much normal levels. About 5 inches came down the other day, but that's no big deal. The streets and sidewalks were clear in no time at all. We might get some over the weekend, but it's a 50/50 chance.
