...and I really like the Stingray 4H.
Just about all I ever do is slap and the 5HH doesnt seem to work so well with the neck positioned pickup getting in the way.
So I was thinking the other day about trying to trade it for a Bongo 4H or a Sterling 4H. I would rather not have a second Stingray 4H and I would prefer at this point to stick with musicman.
Then I got another idea.
What about removing the neck pickup and pickguard and getting a pickguard made for the Stingray 5H and installing it thus covering the hole from the pickup? I am not sure how I will like the 5 strings for slap as I am really likeing the 4 string as of now, but I might as well try it as long as I already have the bass.
Ideas??
Thanks
