Double Bass So I have this beat-up old DB which I know nothing about...

A couple of years ago, I came by a beat-up old DB which I bought (for about $700) on a whim. Yeah, I'm an impulse buyer. It's fun, but I never really got into it (I like my electric basses) so I want to sell the thing.

But I have NO idea how old it is, who the maker is, etc... All I know is it's got huge volume and killer tone for the $700 I paid for it. But how do I begin to identify it? I vaguely remeber it being referred to as a Schoenbach 3/4. Which means nothing. So what do I do? I want to sell it but when people ask me questions I can't answer them.

Is there anyone in Toronto that I could have come take a look at this beast, so they can identify it and place a value on it? I have some pictures but they're low quality, and I wouldn't even know what parts to focus on.
