i can improv one string basslines without problem but thats all i can do what next step should i take ?

Yes, use more then one string. Learn where the notes are on all of your fretboard. It's not that hard once you can recognize the patterns. That getting started link has what you will need.
As everything we do is based around the major scale (pattern) and I know of no instrument that does not start us out running our scales, makes since to me to point you the major scale and have you run it in all 12 keys...
That should get you using all of your fretboard. Catch the F major scale at the first fret forth string. G at the 3rd, A at the 5th, etc.
Post # 4 in Music Theory Help should help.
