What are you going to play on them - bluegrass, jazz, classical?Which strings are the softest to the touch? (other than pure gut)
Jazz. Thanks. What are you going to play on them - bluegrass, jazz, classical?
Yes...I'm interested. Send him to me. IF they are in good shape, I'll take em.Animas...nice thud with a sexy growl on top. A guy I know is selling a well-used set for $40 if you want to try them out before gambling $300 on a new set.
Velvet Anima is a very good suggestion at 25kg tension per string. Velvet also makes a Garbo Light and a Garbo Gut set: the Lights are 22.5kg The Anima are growlier, the Garbo a little more bouncy and gut-like.Jazz. Thanks.
I've been very happy with Innovation Golden Slaps.
Super Silvers if you'd like a bit more tension, but honestly Golden Slaps are a wonderful and affordable choice.
