Software plugins, simple general question

Is it possible to combine the goods, in real time, from one plugin and match it with the goods from another plugin.

Here’s an example:

Ampeg SVX – For the amp

along with

Guitar Rig – For its effects

Assuming you're talking about using this in a live environment that would narrow your VST host choices. For example, I wouldn't use Reaper in as a live VST host.

It wouldn't be my first choice but it would be my second choice behind bidule. Reaper can be setup as a live audio environment just as easily as bidule...heck some of the automation in reaper makes it easier to use live than bidule!
