The fret board on the first one looks amazing! The chamber on the second one is and interesting way of going about it. Do you leave it with the v-grooves, or do you hollow it right out?

I love your work! Very interesting body designs that work well. Many custom basses I see look like they're trying really hard
to look custom. Yours look very natural and have a flow to them.

Those look really great, you might of said it before but what's the reasoning for the pyramid chambering over a more standard constellation or hollowed out wings?

I took the idea from the B&W loudspeaker company, model B&W DM302. They had a series of loudspeakers with randomly arrayed pyramids at the back of the speaker box as a kind of a solution to the problem from resonances of coloration inside small cabinets. So I did the same with basses and guitars. I carved the entire body with pyramids. That's it...You get a more defined acoustic like sound....

Your woodwork is spotless. Super impressed with it. I'm not sure I believe the pyramids make it sound more "acoustic", but it that helps you sell em' go for it!

Ups....I smell sneaky suspicion...

Well when the wood is removed by drilling out pyramids there is some free space left under the top ...right...so there is a little acouticness..the main point is how this empty space will sound....muddy or clear...that's the point of pyramids in it. After 10y of research of this building technique I have come to many different sounds due to the pyrmid depth and size .....flat top, drop top, or arch top....so it is an endless game. At the end I would like people to buy my instruments for that...but they really buy them as they are decently built.
