Planned Some suggestions, clickiness, thanks

Some suggestions:

PREVIEW vs UPLOAD
When replying to a post, I rely heavily on the "preview" button, but it is now under "More Options"; I'm willing to bet that people use preview more often than "upload a file". Perhaps put the latter-mentioned in the "more options" camp rather than "preview" = Less clickage.

OBSCURA
Further to "Preview"... used to be able to preview and still see other comments in the thread. Now, to preview you only see the post you are writing and must open another window to see the original thread / posts that you're commenting on.

CLICK, CLICK
Previously clicking on a "+quote" automatically loaded the quote(s) in the reply (as per NewTB's "reply"), now you have to click on "insert quotes", then comes a pop-up window with "insert these quotes" requiring yet another click...

URL HANDLING
in a reply used to have the formatting there for the TBer to edit, ie
[ URL= http: whatever ] "Hey check out this link" [/ u r l ],
but now when you insert a URL you no longer see the formatting and can't substitute the URL (say if you find a better link). I do understand that the "new way" of handling URLs cleans up a lot of visual clutter in the draught of the reply-post, so maybe I'll have to find a personal work-around.

CUT n PASTE
Some weird stuff going on with cut n paste. Cutting text from one part of this post to paste it in another part and my paste doesn't work (still can paste the text into my word processor).

THANKS!
I'm trying to maintain an open mind and give the NewTB a fair shake :
for example Google mail "upgrades" usually are not for the better, but rather for the sake of being able to say "we've upgraded!" (and it's often, in fact, a downgrade).

The new system is obviously quite powerful, and with great power...
So, thanks for the hard work on getting everyone through the teething pains, resolving issues quickly and providing feedback on suggestions/opinions.

I'm quite liking the alerts feature.

Sorry for the verbosity of this post

Thanks for the constructive feedback! What OS and browser are you using? I'm thinking about that cut-paste issue.

For manual control of URL handling, click the little "wrench" icon at the very top-right of the text reply editor. That'll take you to a BBcode editor vs the default.

The multi-quote feature of XenForo is recently implemented, and I think they will probably tweak it going forward. However it does add the cool ability to quote from lots of different places, while maintaining your list of quotes...

Thanks! Point taken on the "preview" button. Adding to suggestions to review :)
