Some Wreck models in progress

Greetings!
here are two W5 neckthrough in progress, I call them "fat boy" & "slim boy"
specs.:
"fat boy"-because it is made for those who like fat neck feel and fat, dark and pounchy sound of maple/paduak
body wings-peer top,mahogany pinstripe,walnut body
neck- paduak/maple 7pieces
fretboard-paduak

"slim boy"- thiner neck feel, and wenge/maple for stiff and clean sound
body wings- walnut/mahogany/walnut
neck- wenge/maple 7pieces
fretboard-wenge

What sort of finish you thinking of for them?

PVC? or something else?

to be honest don´t know yet,thinking of oil/wax and polyurethane,,,,uuuh that would be nice

I think Tung Oil (several coats of) followed up by a bee's wax or similar.


Luke Sheridan did that with his Bastoigne Fretless project. Looked damn nice.

Hell I forgot! Aries custom humbuckers(passive pckps) with Aries 3-way active control, that works veryvery nice

I particularly like the sharp, crisp contouring.
Also the side shot to see how you glued the body wings at an angle to the neck blank. How, exactly, do you make the bridge area flat once again?
