Ha! About 6 months ago I was subbing and the bandleader called "Don't Let Me Down" which I've never played before, but I've heard enough times to know the basic gist of that bassline. So I winged it, and afterwards the bandleader and the guitarist were both like "Dude, you really nailed McCartney's bass part note-for-note, that was awesome!" and I just thanked them...but then when I got home I listened to The Beatles' original recordingBeatles- Don’t Let Me Down is relatively simple and fun to play around with some of the fills. You can experiment with it and no one is the wiser if it’s not perfect
I was going to say anything that Anthony Jackson played but then I read ‘rather simple’ and thought no.I'm looking for rather simple songs with fun fills.
Think "smoke on the water". The actual bass line, not the famous guitar part.
It's got some fun, groovey feeling fills.
This song was way easier than I thought it would be.Don't Stop til you get enough - MJ
Has some incredible fills that consistantly blow my mind whenever it comes on the radio
