Sounds of nature plugins

A couple of tracks I'm working on would sound great with some ambient buildup. Like ocean noises or of the like, and I couldn't find any plugins that do this. Is anyone aware of such software that they could share?

This would most likely be the realm of samples, not plug-ins.

Grab synth plug in, use White noise and sweep some filters.

There is a web site where they do this and it's very good.

This is probably what I will do, I saw some of those Zoom field recorders on MF, and I could just record the ocean water outside my house at night when traffic is far less frequent.
My only question would be since I haven't used one, how taking the recorded audio gets transferred from said field recorder to DAW preferably in a .WAV file.

depends on the recorder, but the new ones typically just connect via USB. Some that record to a removeable SD card also let you pop that card into your laptop or USB SD card reader.

most hand held recorders will convert to WAV. my TASCAN dr 40 does that, and you can connect via USB or card as derrico1 said

don't forget to take something to cover your mic since the wind can make a lot of noise in your recording
