As said in the SASS thread. The bypass command requires 0 to 63 for off values and 64 to 127 for on values. I mapped it all out over there on how to do this.

the toggle bypass command that c4 and later pedals got, cycles between on and off, so the value does not matter. The regular bypass command is better suited for making sure your pedal and midi controller on/off LEDs remain synced up.

Got it, but I don't see anything besides the bypass/engage I put them in 63 on data on and 64 off data but it's still not turning on and off

For bypass @davedamage did you map a cc message to the aftershock? You need on and off data0 set to cc you assigned for bypass, then ondata1 64 or greater, and offdata1 to 63 or less than. Are you guys on the Facebook group? I’ve got a video on there that goes over how I utilize panel mode with a dozen midi devices and how I get the most out of my personal board there.

this is what you posted in the saas thread...if so it not turning the aftershock on/off

With midi CC messages. On/off data 0 is the midi cc number. On/off data 1 is the value.

so whatever you mapped to bypass/engage goes in data 0 and then anything from 0 to 63 in off data 1, and 64 to 127 in on data 1

Ok guys now I able the change pedals, scroll through presets, saving scenes should be easy. I'm regards to turning pedals on and off as you move panels is that possible? Thank you too all!! @ especially @Gibs210 and @davedamage and @rsmith601 ,and anyone else I forgot to mention. this is the furthest I've ever gotten. We should probably save this discussion somewhere. At this point I'll take what I can get, just as long as I don't have to spend more money. But it would be nice to be able to see what preset you're in...
..
So excited we are making progress! I did very little. Thank you @Gibs210 @benevan @davedamage for all the input. Our pedals require a community, and we are so lucky and grateful to have one. :)

Yes so much further than where I was, a bit too tired to try to get the other two pedals to turn on. I have so much more of an understanding of the soleman. You guys really need to do a comprehensive video on working with the soleman. if we can get it working the way I want, I would say many haven't tapped the potential, and probably would have a lot less people selling their solemans. In either case looks like we're almost there!

Your case has stimulated some discussion on what we should do to make this easier.

You know what's crazy is that I've had the soleman for 3 yrs. If finally got tired of trying to figure it out, despite how many times I read the manual or searched online in forums for a solution. I finally decided no one was really using the soleman the way I wanted, but I thought it was a great work flow. I've brought up the conversation before but never created a thread about it. I'm sure my problem isn't isolated. I think many people gave up on it because their simply wasn't any support. Luckily you guys have been great. While not was elegant as the competition, the soleman can get you 80 or 90% there. Do I feel the need to spend more money on a controller as this point. No. Would I like to see the presets being display as I change them of course, but I can hear the changes just fine. First time in 3 years where I feel I finally have a working ecosystem.

As far as turning on/off Aftershock the latching option works best. Feel confident enough now to program the soleman with a panel per pedal with the 2 added switch one to turn on the pedal, 2 switches to select presets, one to turn on something else. Had a little issue with panel selection and turn on other pedals at the same time, I learned that you scroll that inadvertent button pressing can be avoided, not glamorous but it can be done. Other than integrating my beat buddy and adding another Hub I think I'm pretty excited! Once I get the other hub I'll be able to integrate the EQ2 and Atlas, I have the panels saved already.

Quick question, if I plan on connecting the atlas and EQ2 to the soleman via midi they will not show up in scenes to the hub correct? If I want those pedals to be saved as well I have to get another hub.
Atlas is going to require the midi adapter at a minimum. Macros can be a way around needing a hub. You would need to program them all and then use macros instead of PC messages when in scene mode. You’d also need to use the soleman editor when saving these, as that’s the only way to create macros.

Kinda understood, haven't gotten into macros yet, so getting another hub wouldn't be easier? What's so different about the Atlas?

Ok nevermind think of the adaptor like a mini hub, plug straight to midi I get it, question now is will the Atlas and EQ2 show up in scenes?

I posted in the source audio thread about expanding the conversation to this thread for soleman programming only. I'm looking to explore macros and other programming scenarios. If I get something I'll post it here. If there's anyone left using a soleman would to hear how you use it. Let's keep the discussion going.
