I have recently bought HH3 and BEF, but I'm still quite getting the hang of it. The bad side, though, is that I live in Brazil, so, if I have any technical difficulties, such as the one mentioned above, I'll need at least a week to ship it back to USA, wait for it to get repaired and shipped back, and finally get to use it again. Let's just hope it not to break, at least for a while.

Now what I am trying to figure out is the best way to swap my headstock HH during a mid-set bass swap. I'm working on that one. Ideally I would have 2 HH's, one on each bass, but having to power down HH receivers isn't an option. Suggestions welcome.

Perhaps attaching the ring to one of those Girly hair clips will do the job? My girlfriend has a slew of those little hair things with teeth that could clip on and off of the strings on the headstock. That way you don't need multiple rings and could potentially use more than two basses.

Buy a fret wrap from Gruv Gear and keep it just above the nut so that you do not get any string dampening. It wraps around the neck and secures with velcro. It can be detached in a second. Wrap the HH around the fret wrap. You simply swap the fret wrap between your basses. Should be able to do it in seconds.

both excellent suggestions. I've just been wrapping the HH around 3 strings above the nut. It works great, but that tiny rubber strap is difficult to thread in the heat of a live performace. Thanks

edit: oh and as a bonus I think these suggestions will let me rotate the HH 90 degrees and open up 3 axis function

Did I read hear correctly that there is a clean blend feature on the bass envelope filter but its just not obvious? I know the pro series has one but I'm a little afraid of all the features.

So, this probably extremely obvious, but man did the BEF Pro open up when I added a dual expression pedal! I can modulate faster lines that I can't with the hot hand and I have a free wah pedal.

I, for one, am stupidly excited for your SB2 MIDI adapter/Scene Saver! It sounds like it's going to address my only significant criticism of the SB2 format very nicely (that is, the fact that those boxes can produce SO MANY cool sounds but only have two presets!).
