awright this is an old head but i need a pot for it are some general knowledge on how to fix pots. If anyone knows anything specific about fixing amps or Sovtek amps please help me!

I think pots can be gotten at probably hundreds of online electronics stores. In my little experience, pots can wear out beyond repair, and they are about $5-$10 dollars to replace. I think they are like a resistor - pretty generic and nothing unique to Sovtek. If you've tried spraying contact cleaner in the pot and that doesn't fix it, you replace it or pay a tech replace it.
if were that easy, the pot fell apart so i'm trying to find out what resistance i need for that pot, it the "bass" pot on the head.
