Space under Pedaltrain Nano+/Metro

Having owned both the Nano and the Metro16, I can tell you the space between the rails is the same. I'll take a measurement for you, but you have to consider your cables too. A CIOKS DC5 will fit both super-perfectly. A DC10 would fit on the Metro16 with minor surgery (search for my thread documenting this if you like). There's no reason to put such a big power supply on a Mini, but it would take a whole bunch of cutting.

There is 3.8125" (3 13/16") between the rails (the larger of the 2 gaps) of my Metro 20. According to Google, that equals 96.8375mm. I'm reasonable sure it's the same for a Metro 16 and Nano +.
Now, will that be large enough to allow your 88mm PSU to fit? Yes. Will you be able to plug any of the power cords to the PSU? I don't know what PSU you're referring to, but I'd bet the connection points are on the long side of the unit which means you'll need to follow @dinoadventures thread and do some modding.

BTW - my Cioks DC5 fits under and works perfectly with my Metro 20 board:
Saturnworks Mute Switch -> Sonic Research Turbo Tuner ST-300 mini -> Empress Compressor -> MXR Bass Octave Deluxe -> MXR Bass Envelope Filer -> MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe -> TC Electronic Hall of Fame -> Aguliar Tone Hammer DI

Hope that helps...

Yeah, thanks for your replies. Was going to try mounting a Cioks Big John Link and swapping out the feet on the PT but now I'm thinking drop the extra money and get a DC5 so everything fits without modification and the cable connectors are oriented better.

Still undecided between the Nano+ and the Metro16. The extra depth on the Metro would provide a buffer for the 12AX7 valve which protrudes out the top of my OD pedal. Also the PS can be positioned in the gap next to the pedals, not directly under them. So I'm not really undecided at all...

Carry on.

For your consideration:
• the bag for the Nano is way better, in my opinion. I love that it attaches to your gig bag.
• the metro is FAR more usable in terms of real estate. Height-wise, you have room for a full row of 125B-size pedals with top jacks with 1590a and potentially 1590b size pedals horizontally above that. Alternately, you could do 1590bb on top and 1590b with side jacks on the bottom row. It's fantastic, you can get 10+ pedals on there easily if you play your cards right.

I'm only needing to accomodate my tuner, OD (which is 170mm wide ... er 7 inches-ish) and eventually a third, which will probably be a Keeley Bassist = all the pedals I want or need.

Has one of them thermionic valves in it. I have yet to see a small valve OD.

Here's one. There are others, but this is a real good one.
