Spalted Maple G&L L-2000 GAS in overdrive

Martin music in Memphis just posted a consignment L-2000 in spalted maple with a maple board. What a gorgeous bass, now I just need $1400. Anyone ever seen this with a maple board? Every one I've seen is rosewood.

I've seen a few in natural finishes with maple fretboards...5-string for sale here, natural Empress body on reverb.com... but not one quite like that.

I would likely buy this if it were Rosewood. I bought a Rosewood version on here a couple years ago from TX but it was 1.5" nut and I had to send it back. This one looks like it might be as well? These are rare enough already, but with a Maple board, it is SO worth it! Love these!

Update: I called Martin Music in Memphis (901-729-2466) today and confirmed it has an 1.5" nut. Someone buy this rare bird!!

My LB-100's and my incoming Kiloton are the 1 5/8, I'm not a huge fan of the 1.5 neck either. my first bass was a Jazz Bass special in about 1990, and to this day it's the only bass I like with the "jazz" nut.
